About The Owner, Shunta L . Wlliams
Owner, baker, and designer my interest for baking and designing started from a very young age while growing up in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, working in the Social and Family Services field, and trying to obtain a second Bachelor’s in Speech Pathology—I realized that I would never be happy until I pursued my passion. Though my path of becoming who I am today has taken many different turns it has shaped my desire to finally follow my dreams.
A wife to Mr. Oliver T. Williams Jr, mother and first lady I juggle many hats. My children the awesome duo Karrington and Kaleb were my inspiration for naming my business “Karrington’s Kreations”. I began crafting in 2008 designing hair bows, flip flops, and embroidering bags. In 2011 I took on a new hobby and went into the kitchen and started making chocolate covered turtles and caramel apples. I would get my friends, family members and co-workers to sample my creations for years as I perfected them. Word of mouth had begun to spread about the wonderful creations I was serving an it was becoming popular by demand.
In 2014, I took a leap of faith and decided to go full-time with Karrington's Kreations. When I began any project the Holy Spirit aids me in my creation which is why with God, all things are possible. I enjoy and love what I do and consider it to be the best job ever because it is a gift from God!
